Younes is an experienced filmmaker & storyteller who has worked in both long and short formats. He has a love for storytelling of all kinds and is especially known for his cinematic drama work.

 

He has circled the globe and cross-crossed continents, filming TV commercials, documentary series, and short films for the Middle East & Europe.  

 

He studied script and direction at Stockholm Filmskolan and started his career in filmmaking as a First Assistant Director, editor and producer before becoming a director. He proved himself comfortable in both worlds of drama and commercials.

 

As a commercial director, he has massive experience in doing both traditional 30 second TV ads as well as developing and shooting branded entertainment content.

 

Younes stands out as a filmmaker in part due to his unusual background, having intensely studied psychology. Using his knowledge of human emotions and how our minds actually work.
